Aqua Summit is back and early bird tickets are available now. This is an exciting opportunity for everyone in the aquatic exercise space for both networking as well as education and development. The 2025 Aqua Summit is scheduled for 18th – 19th October, across two days of immersive learning.
What is the 2025 Aqua Summit?
The first Aqua Summit took place in 2023 and was organised by the Aqua Alliance – a small group of fitness professionals who came together in the disarray of the global pandemic to collaborate and support each other. Those three founding members are Marietta Mehanni, Dominic Gill, and Jenn Schembri-Portelli.
Marietta’s own business focuses on the education of other fitness instructors and she has spent more than 30 years working in the aqua exercise space. Dominic has created Aqua Fitness Online, a virtual community with a worldwide following of aqua fitness enthusiasts. Jenn has played an active role in the aquatic exercise industry over many years through her own business, JSP Solutions. The three fitness professionals had previously leaned on one another to discuss industry issues and share ideas. When fitness businesses ground to a halt in 2020, they realised the need for a platform to gather aqua professionals, get various sectors to align, and boost collective morale. From the chaos that was COVID-19, the trio united to form The Aqua Alliance. Their mission is to provide opportunities for those working within the aqua industry to connect, learn, and grow together.
The 2025 Aqua Summit draws in leading academics, aqua instructors, allied health professionals, and business experts as presenters to offer an immersive development program.
What can attendees expect to gain by attending the 2025 Aqua Summit?
Aqua Summit attendees will have the opportunity to learn from award-winning presenters like Lisa Westlake, Donna Wilmot, and Katrein Lemahieu.
The agenda includes topics such as deep water design, cueing & modifications and equipment use.
Engaging lectures and dynamic masterclasses will explore cutting-edge research and introduce innovative teaching methods designed to level up the aqua exercise credentials of participants. Attendees will also earn CEC points.
Where will the 2025 Aqua Summit be held?
The Aqua Summit will take place in Sydney on October 18th and 19th at Gunyama Park Aquatic Centre, Zetland. For more information about both the 2025 Aqua Summit, visit the Aqua Alliance website. You can check out the full line-up of presenters and secure your spot at this exciting education and networking event.
