Les Mills Celebrate RPM 100 Release

Article updated November 2023.

Les Mills Asia Pacific celebrated the 100th release of the hugely popular RPM cycling program with a sell-out event in Sydney this month. The milestone was a testament to 25 years of fresh, engaging workouts with a cult-like following of indoor cycling enthusiasts.

What is Les Mills RPM?

RPM is a group indoor cycling workout, that allows participants to be in control of the intensity. One of the most popular offerings of the phenomenally successful Les Mills brand, RPM features killer music that encourages participants to cycle in time, as their Instructor guides them through a series of sprints, hill climbs, and flat intervals.

What makes RPM so popular?

With a new release every quarter, this indoor cycling endorphin hit offers a low impact workout that gets results. RPM participants can burn up to 500 calories in a class and because individuals can adjust their own resistance levels and speed, they can build their own fitness level over time.

Each carefully choreographed RPM workout uses music to inspire and motivate attendees, and positive encouragement from the Instructor to bring the best out in every person. The RPM workout is available Live and also in Les Mills Virtual format at some clubs. The result is an immersive and exhilarating experience for participants, which is what keeps them coming back again and again.
