Burn The Floor With Les Mills DANCE

It’s been an exciting time for Les Mills fans as the fitness juggernaut has been releasing several new workouts over recent months, including their Limited Edition Collection. The latest sweat session to hit our shores is LES MILLS DANCE™ and the program is set to officially launch at the upcoming Les Mills Live event in Brisbane.

What is LES MILLS DANCE?

Les Mills Asia Pacific have described the new workout as “a high-energy workout that will reinvent the way you move and sweat”. The 45 minute workout has been designed by dancers and syncs movements inspired by global dance genres to 10 stand-alone music tracks.

This moderate to high-intensity workout combines some serious cardio efforts with strength and conditioning work, all whilst maintaining the fun and energy of dance. It’s suitable for beginners to enjoy and aligns with Les Mills’ intention to bring younger generations into the group exercise space.

Ryan Hogan, the CEO of Les Mills Asia Pacific says, “LES MILLS DANCE™ is perfect for anyone who just loves to dance. Every LES MILLS DANCE™ class has innovative dance movements that work cohesively with music inspired by a wide variety of dance genres. But most of all, it’s fun, energetic, ideal for anyone new to dance or new to exercise – and everyone leaves feeling happy!”

What to expect in LES MILLS DANCE classes?

LES MILLS DANCE™ is an equipment-free workout, so you only need to bring yourself and some good vibes. The workout is being rolled out across clubs and will be available on LES MILLS+ from Spring 2024.

The class is structured to give attendees time within each track to explore movement and challenge their bodies. Discrete standalone choreography means that if you aren’t a fan of a particular movement or sound, it completely changes in the next track. This continual refreshment of sounds and genres keeps engagement high and energy levels even higher.

If the suspense is too much and you’re keen to be one of the first to experience LES MILLS DANCE in Australia, tickets are still available for the epic LES MILLS LIVE event that is set to take place in Brisbane next month. You can join over 1200 fitness fans to enjoy the unique festival, described as an exercise class disguised as a rock concert. The first LES MILLS DANCE Masterclass will be led by some of the brand’s most popular international’ Instructors.
