It was a Les Mills party in Singapore, with over 5,700 participants working out to the same pumping beats. The LES MILLS LIVE event ran from 3-4th June and allowed fitness enthusiasts to enjoy workouts they know and love such as BODYPUMP®, BODYCOMBAT®, and BODYBALANCE® under the guidance of the world’s best instructors. Group exercise royalty such as Rachael Newsham, Marlon Woods, Kylie Gates, Khiran Huston, Reagan Kang, and Meno Thomas took their Les Mills devotees through their paces like never before.

The landmark event was a joint initiative from Les Mills Asia Pacific, adidas, BODY BIKE Indoor Cycles, and Sport Singapore, the national sports agency, to celebrate the power of live workouts and embrace new innovations in the group fitness space.

It was quite the experience for fitness fanatics with the opportunity to explore pioneering new training concepts as well as meet their favourite Instructors in person. This was all, of course, while being immersed in a turbo-charged, sensory overload of music, lights, and energy that creates the unique Les Mills experience, which is enjoyed in over 100 countries around the world.

Ryan Hogan, CEO of Les Mills Asia Pacific, said, “It was incredible to bring people together for a thrilling festival of fitness and to celebrate the power of live workouts in a social setting. There’s nothing like witnessing almost 1,000 people moving in perfect unison in a BODYCOMBAT® class! The unity among everyone in the room was incredible, and typical of the electric energy and excitement that attendees experienced across the two days.” The energy even inspired a very public marriage proposal up on stage!

Joining in the Honeymoon for Les Mills and adidas Partnership

The event allowed the new brand partnership between adidas and Les Mills to be celebrated by way of superstar Les Mills Instructors donning the latest high-performance adidas training apparel, footwear, and accessories, which have all been expertly crafted to support HIIT, Strength and Stretch sessions. The event allowed these products to be showcased and put through their paces!

The two brands are celebrating their new alliance with a smash-hit global tour of fitness events and the LES MILLS LIVE Singapore was only the first port of call. The partnership is aimed at combining live and digital fitness experiences to grow the training community, particularly across Gen Z.

A sneak peek at LES MILLS Strength Development

A select group of VIP’s were lucky enough to be treated to an exclusive preview of the new LES MILLS Strength Development workout. The Southeast Asia debut of the LES MILLS Strength Development was greeted with positive responses by attendees. The new training offering has been created to appeal to Generation Z’s thirst for highly motivating and results-driven strength programs.

Sport Singapore also ran a series of Community Group Fitness Classes for attendees and welcomed the event for its impact on the community, inspiring more Singaporeans to embrace an active lifestyle.

BODY BIKE showcase their mission for sustainability.

The LES MILLS LIVE Singapore event was the perfect platform for BODY BIKE to show the world the sustainable versions of their benchmark SMART+ model. The Forest Green and OceanIX versions of the SMART+ are made of recycled plastic from commercial fishing nets and are setting the standard when it comes to sustainable manufacturing of indoor cycles.

Attendees sweated it out aboard the BODY BIKES to workouts such as Less Mills SPRINT® and a live version of THE TRIP®, a fully immersive virtual cycle class experience that combines a 40-minute multi-peak cycling workout with a journey through digitally-created worlds.
