Introducing The FIT House Of Brands

A new parent company that unifies global fitness brands F45 Training, VAURA Pilates and FS8 has been announced. The launch of FIT (short for Functional Inspired Training) is an exciting moment for the wider fitness community, bringing a variety of exercise and wellbeing modalities under the one umbrella. Here’s what we know so far about the FIT House of Brands…

Who are FIT House of Brands?

FIT is a fitness franchise company, providing franchisees with tried and tested business models and operational support across its brands. The FIT brand aligns itself with three core pillars:

  • The power of movement
  • The strength of community
  • The future of wellness

With a studio footprint of more than 1500 locations in 55 countries, the FIT House of Brands is comprised of:

F45 Training: This global powerhouse brand needs little introduction. The hugely popular team-based workout style offers 45 minute functional training that combines cardio, strength and scientifically backed programming.

VAURA Pilates: The thirst for reformer Pilates continues in the fitness community and VAURA creates an immersive, sensory experience using neon lights, upbeat music and mirrored ceilings. The workouts are design to leave the mind as energised as the body.

FS8: Catering to all fitness levels from beginner through to advanced, FS8 is a fusion of Pilates, yoga and full body toning workouts.

The team at FIT are switched on enough to see the demand for recovery options in today’s health and fitness landscape and have developed strategic partnerships with leading recovery solutions. Select studios are able to offer a suite of recovery modalities including infrared saunas, percussion therapy and cold plunges.

The Popularity Of Boutique Fitness Franchises

With 75 new studio openings across the portfolio of brands last year, FIT has established a dominant presence within the boutique fitness space. FIT CEO, Tom Dowd said, “We’re not just evolving – we’re redefining ourselves as well as our brand story, enabling expansion under our umbrella to include new modalities whether through acquisition or development.”

2024 saw record achievements for the company with average unit volumes for F45 Training growing by 12.4%, FS8 by 23.9% and VAURA Pilates a massive 51.1%.

The popularity of group training in a boutique fitness environment remains strong as people seek both community and variety when it comes to health and fitness.
