Meet The Under Armour Speedform™ Gemini Running Shoe

The latest evolution of the Brand’s UA SpeedForm platform is built to
handle longer distances.

Under Armour, the premier performance footwear, apparel, and equipment brand, has further expanded their running footwear offerings with the February 23 release of UA SpeedForm™ Gemini. Building upon the earlier UA SpeedForm models including RC and Apollo, UA SpeedForm Gemini brings the same precision fit and feel to a shoe made for long distance running. Made in a clothing factory, all shoes in the collection feature a seamless heel cup and lightweight, breathable upper, which minimises distractions and allows for a more locked in, personalised fit.

Whether training for long-distance races or logging extra miles to reach new fitness goals, UA SpeedForm Gemini is built for runners who need extra cushioning without added weight and bulk. It incorporates two layers of Charged Cushioning™, a new innovative midsole material that has a unique combination of bouncy feel and impact protection, adapts to the needs of any runner, and offers superior cushioning and responsiveness. Gemini features a highly breathable mesh upper and an anatomical outsole that supports an efficient stride.

“Under Armour is committed to the running category and building the best running shoes on the market,” said Fritz Taylor, Vice President, Running, Under Armour. “UA SpeedForm Gemini was in development for two years, and we left no stone unturned in the process of making a best-in-class running shoe. We’re excited to widen the scope of runners who can find what they need in an Under Armour shoe.”

Under Armour’s elite roster of runners includes pro marathoner Nick Arciniaga, triathlete Chris “Macca” McCormack, and sprinters Manteo Mitchell and Natasha Hastings. The UA SpeedForm Gemini is the “Official Training Shoe” for the global Connected Fitness platform MapMyRun, retails for $179.99, and is exclusively to Rebel Sport.
