Over 10,000 fitness enthusiasts attended the Melbourne AusFitness Expo across the weekend of 13th and 14th April 2024. It marked the return of the event to Melbourne for the first time since pre-pandemic times, and was embraced by both industry professionals and the community alike.
Ausfitness Expo 2024-A Roaring Success
Taking place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the event provided an opportunity for attendees to witness several fitness competitions, including the ICN Oceania Muscle and Model Competition, the Oceania Strongman Championships, the launch of Spartan’s DEKA STRONG, and the CrossFit Expo Games. Attendees could also participate in numerous group exercise master classes across a vast array of fitness genres, including Masala Bhangra and Zumba. It also allowed for exhibitors to showcase the latest products and innovations to hit the Aussie market and build industry connections.
Shaun Krenz, Director of AusFitness Expo, was delighted at the success of the event:
“After a long hiatus since 2019, Melbourne’s fitness community deserved an event of this magnitude. We’re overjoyed with the launch’s success and excited about the potential for growth. The Expo was more than a festival; it was a testament to the vibrancy of fitness culture. Seeing the collective energy and passion was nothing short of inspiring. We’re proud to offer a platform that unites and invigorates the fitness community and we’re thrilled to announce that we will be back in Melbourne bigger and better on the 29th and 30th of March next year.”

What's next for AusFitness Expo?
With the high of the weekend behind them, it’s straight back to work for Shaun and the AusFitness Expo team. Their next stop? The International Convention Centre, Sydney across 11th – 13th October 2024. This next event is set to be their biggest one yet, and will include the AusFitness Industry Trade Show and Summit, which will run from 11th – 12th October.
