If you’re someone who struggles to roll out of bed to go running on a Sunday morning, we’ve got the answer! It’s the People’s Choice PJs Run, set to launch at Run Melbourne 2014.
Run Melbourne’s presenting partner People’s Choice Credit Union is introducing this fantastic new spectacle to raise funds for HeartKids to support families of children with heart disease.
The People’s Choice PJs Run will commence at the start line for the 5km stage of Run Melbourne at 10:40am on Sunday 27 July 2014, with a relaxed 3.5km route along the Yarra.
You can run, jog or walk the track in PJs which will be supplied as part of your registration fee. Picture hundreds of people running in PJs, all for a great cause!
Your $45 registration fee includes:
- Registration for the People’s Choice PJs Run
- A pair of fantastic PJs for you to run in on the day, and keep.
- A $20 tax deductible donation to HeartKids
- Exclusive entry into the People’s Choice Pyjama Party, to celebrate before and after the run.
In addition, you can set up a fundraising page on Everyday Hero to raise further funds for HeartKids, or buy one of our stylish Sleeping Hats; just $10 with $5 being going to HeartKids.
Money raised from the People’s Choice PJs Run will be shared evenly between HeartKids Vic/Tas and HeartKids SA/NT to support children and their families in these regions.
