Fitness Enhancement Personal Training has just reached another milestone by selling their first interstate franchise only months after advertising outside of QLD.
The Gold Coast success story was started on just $400 by a then 19-year-old Scott Hunt back in 1999. In recent years the brand has seen huge growth due to Mr Hunt now working full time on building the business, and leaving each Personal Training session to his trusted team of Trainers.
Fitness Enhancement's business success
“I spent a decade refining our business model and workouts across 20,000 sessions that I personally took, and hundreds of thousands of sessions that our staff took, to ensure that when we did expand beyond the Gold Coast, we were as tried and proven as possible”, said Scott.
The strategy has paid off with Fitness Enhancement currently covering all Gold Coast and Brisbane suburbs and being the largest Personal Training company in QLD and the third largest in Australia.
Are you the next Fitness Enhancement franchisee?
Whilst they are seeking Brisbane and Gold Coast franchisees, the focus is now also on the rest of Australia having just secured their first Melbourne franchisee with many more in the works. Their newest addition to the team, Matthew Eddy is based in Narre Warren in Melbourne’s South East and is just as excited as the franchising team to introduce the Fitness Enhancement brand of training to Victorian’s. Mr Eddy had previously been a full time roofer for 13 years and part time Personal Trainer and semi professional sprinter (2012 Maryborough Gift Winner and 6 x Stawell Gift semi finalist).
“A Fitness Enhancement franchise was the perfect fit for me, it was a low cost compared to most franchises, but with plenty of growth opportunities to take on staff, have Studios and have multiple territories, I’d been looking around for a couple of years at how I could build my Personal Training business from just a hobby business, to a full time career, but none of the other options offered the complete package like Fitness Enhancement, or they were things like 24/7 Gyms and out of my budget. Plus Fitness Enhancement was one of the very few fitness franchises focused on changing every clients life, as opposed to just selling memberships and not knowing your customers.”
Fitness Enhancement franchises are also available with Personal Training qualifications for an extra $3,000. Then only requirement is a passion for health, fitness and helping people.
Unlike a traditional Gym, Fitness Enhancement has created a niche of ‘100% private’ Personal Training Studios and also Mobile Personal Trainers to give clients “Personal Training that’s personal, not ‘impersonal’ like at a Gym where you’re the centre of attention”.
Mr Hunt explained “Gyms are great value for fit people who love exercise, however they don’t cater to the millions of Australian’s who feel too embarrassed to go to a Gym due to their size, age, injuries, confidence or a variety of other factors. With us clients can achieve their goals in the privacy of their own home or one of our 100% private Studios and avoid the dreaded Gym scene.”
“We’ve helped so many Queenslanders get amazing results that wouldn’t have ever gone to a Gym, and we are excited to now be able to have Mathew Eddy as a franchisee to help Melbourne just as much. We look forward to many more franchisees soon and being able to make an impact on Australia’s obesity epidemic”.
