Free Fitness Business Boot Camp opportunity

At What’s New in Fitness, we love a freebie as much as the next person, so we wanted to share this government-funded opportunity to help you grow and develop your fitness business! If you’re currently running your own business and just trying to get it up and running, there is a fully government-funded Fitness Business Boot Camp running next month that you can attend and then receive 12 months of business coaching.

What will be covered at Asuria's Fitness Business Boot Camp?

This 2-day event will provide fitness business owners with the knowledge and skills owners to grow their existing businesses and set themselves up for growth and success. The content will teach you about:

  • Increasing revenue to industry-leading levels;
  • Generating new revenue streams;
  • Branding and growing your business profile;
  • Reducing admin and paperwork.

Attending the boot camp will then give participants access to Asuria’s Self-Employment Assistance Program. This is a fitness industry-specific business coaching program that includes 12 months of 1:1 business coaching sessions and online workshops.

Sounds to be good to be true, right? If you’re sceptical about freebies, here’s a bit of background…

Why is the Self-Employment Assistance Program free?

Workforce Australia is a government-funded network of organisations that deliver employment services to employers as well as unemployed job seekers on income support payments. These organisations, (such as Asuria), are contracted by the Australian Government, through the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.

Programs such as this are aimed at supporting entrepreneurial small business owners in achieving successful outcomes, which is all part of a healthy and happy economy. The training delivered by Asuria gets funded through Workforce Australia, which means it’s a free resource for eligible fitness business owners to access!

Who can attend the Fitness Business Boot Camp?

The criteria for meeting the eligibility to attend this workshop are that you:

  • Are at least 18 years old;
    Currently running your own business;
  • Legally permitted to be working in Australia;
    You are not an overseas student studying in Australia or an overseas visitor on a working holiday visa;
    Not an undischarged bankrupt;
    Not already engaged in employment or education for more than 25 hours per week.
