Anytime Fitness joined the mix by launching its own fitness app.
The free to download app gives you access to around 1,100 workouts and filter options including fitness level, activity type and what equipment you have available.
Anytime Fitness members can also view recommended workouts with video and text instruction for all exercises.
“When you want to start on a path to a healthier place, a common hurdle is not knowing where or how to begin,” said Chuck Runyon, the co-founder and CEO of Anytime Fitness, in a press release. “In developing our new Anytime Fitness App, our goal was to boost members’ confidence by giving them the tools and the know-how with a vast library of workouts to choose from, as well as guidance and support to achieve their goals.”
The Anytime Fitness App also allows you the user to save their favourite workouts documenting repetitions and weights plus set daily, weekly and long-term goals, and syncs with companion apps such as Anytime Workouts and MapMyFitness, plus tracking devices like Fitbit.
Aimed at overcoming the boredom of the ‘usual’ exercise program or feeling intimated by not knowing what exercises to do, Anytime Fitness members should now feel inspired by having access to a different workout every day, setting personal goals and tracking their progress as they improve their fitness.
“With the new Anytime Fitness app, you can be at the gym, at work or even in your backyard and choose workouts you feel comfortable doing,” Runyon continued. “You don’t have to worry about not knowing the number of reps, sequence or length of each exercise. It’s all there for you, easily viewed on your mobile device. You’ll never be at a loss, with enough workouts to do a new one every day.”
Anytime Fitness has more than 3,500 gyms worldwide, serving nearly 3,000,000 members on five continents and is ranked No.1 franchise on Entrepreneur’s prestigious Top Global Franchise list.
