Sounds to be good to be true, right? If you’re sceptical about freebies, here’s a bit of background…
Why is the Self-Employment Assistance Program free?
Workforce Australia is a government-funded network of organisations that deliver employment services to employers as well as unemployed job seekers on income support payments. These organisations, (such as Asuria), are contracted by the Australian Government, through the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.
Programs such as this are aimed at supporting entrepreneurial small business owners in achieving successful outcomes, which is all part of a healthy and happy economy. The training delivered by Asuria gets funded through Workforce Australia, which means it’s a free resource for eligible fitness business owners to access!

The criteria for meeting the eligibility to attend this workshop are that you:
- Are at least 18 years old;
Currently running your own business; - Legally permitted to be working in Australia;
You are not an overseas student studying in Australia or an overseas visitor on a working holiday visa;
Not an undischarged bankrupt;
Not already engaged in employment or education for more than 25 hours per week.
What does the Self-Employment Assistance Program include?
After kicking off with the boot camp, participants will then be able to access 12 months of ongoing support and resources through the program, including:
