Workshop Helps Fitness Businesses Crack The Weight Loss Market

Personal trainers, gyms and leisure centres can now get a bigger share of the estimated $6 billion dollar annual wellness and weight management market, with the help of a special weight loss business workshop.

To be held in Sydney on Friday June 26th by the SmartShape Centre for Weight Management, the “Weight Loss Business Bootcamp” will show fitness industry professionals how to expand their services with nutrition, mindset and marketing to build more effective and profitable weight loss programs.

Workshop presenter and fitness industry weight loss guru, Matt O’Neill says, “Fitness professionals can no longer only offer fitness training as a weight loss product and expect to keep customers. If clients don’t get the full package, they will go elsewhere for results.”

The workshop aims to inform and inspire attendees by teaching a 5-Star Success Model to:

  1. Inspire
  2. Motivate
  3. Manage
  4. Reward
  5. Retain clients.

The model is equally applicable for fast-tracking a personal trainer’s confidence and career, as it is to help a fitness chain develop and roll out a weight loss program.

O’Neill says, “My aim is in just one day to teach people what works and what doesn’t for weight management so you don’t waste time and effort creating packages or programs that fail. There are very simple things every fitness trainer or business can do to help clients with their diet and mindset, but its how the components are packaged and implemented that requires a lot of know-how and industry insight.”

At the workshop, O’Neill will be sharing over 20 years’ experience as a Dietitian and businessman – coaching clients, consulting, speaking, mentoring and designing programs.
