A massive refurbishment has taken place at the University of Western Australia’s Recreation and Fitness Centre, Crawley campus
The $600k refurb of the Recreation and Fitness Centre at the Uni of WA in Crawley has been completed by Summit Fitness Equipment.
Open to the general public as well as staff, students, members and alumni, the facility now offers a low impact studio, a high performance room, a functional training zone, more than 120 cardio and resistance weight machines, Wi-Fi, new flooring, a spin room boasting 35 bikes, a range of cable stations, more than 50 group fitness classes each week, as well as indoor and outdoor courts.
The refurb also includes cardio equipment from Star Trac, StairMaster, Torque Fitness, Jacobs Ladder and Octane Fitness, as well as a complete Star Trac strength fit out that features new Lock-N-LoadⓇ technology and free weight equipment, as well as squat racks and lifting platforms.
The facility also now offers StarTrac E-TRxe Treadmills that have in-built TV and iPod connectivity, as well as 15” high definition embedded touch screens. Members can also access over one million different programmed workouts, thanks to the Star Trac Coach® feature.
