Train Like a Gladiator at Virgin Active

Power Plate is excited to announce that from mid-February, Virgin Active will be running ‘Train Like A Gladiator’ Power Plate group fitness classes across all Australian Virgin Active Health Clubs.

These classes have been designed by International UK Gladiator ‘ICE’ – Caroline Pearce and focus on a fast-paced, functional workout designed to target all muscle groups.

“My training regime for UK Gladiators really focused on key areas of strength, endurance, flexibility and of course, looking the part,” says Caroline Pearce. “Australians love working out through functional fitness – the popularity of ‘Tough Mudder’ and bootcamp-style training is proof of this. I created these Power Plate Gladiator-style workouts to complement and enhance the way Aussies are already working out to give them the option of great results, fast.”

The three classes in the series are:

  1. Train Like a Gladiator: A fast-paced, functional workout to get your heart racing.
  2. 360 Degree Abs: Focus on your core and get that six pack fast!
  3. Train Like an Athlete: A high-intensity MMA-style workout.

Class participants can claim their first Gladiator class free at participating studios. This offer and studio locations can be found via the Power Plate Australia Facebook page from January:
