‘Train Like a Gladiator’ Goes In For Round Two

After the success of the first series of ‘Train Like A Gladiator’ Power Plate group fitness classes, the second series of workouts is coming to Virgin Active Health Clubs, select Fernwood clubs and Power Plate studios across Australia.

These new classes have again been designed by International UK Gladiator ‘ICE’ – Caroline Pearce and focus on fast-paced, functional workouts designed to target all muscle groups.

Sarah Newman, Fit Pro Team Leader at Virgin Active’s Moore Park Club has noticed a revitalised attendance record for Power Plate classes since the introduction of the Train Like A Gladiator series.

“We have gone from an underperforming class attendance to full capacity in these classes,” says Sarah. “In particular Train like a Gladiator and 360 Degree Abs are consistently full. Our members are loving the “legs-arms-abs” rotation system in Gladiator 1 followed by the cardio burner at the end of each circuit. It gives them a chance to challenge their strength in the first three exercises and finish off with a high intensity round at the end. The strength movements are tough and can be regressed to beginner level whilst being difficult enough to leave an advanced trainee struggling to finish! I honestly can’t wait to roll out the next round of the Gladiator series!”
