Having grown from just six gyms to 60 gyms in two years, and with a further 54 territories sold, Plus Fitness recently announced the recruitment of a National Franchise Support Manager to assist in managing this growth.
The position has been filled by Roger Nakad, who has an extensive background in both the Fitness Industry and Franchising Sector. With a degree in Business and Marketing Roger also has previously held senior roles within both Fitness First Australia and Genesis Health Clubs, Rogers primary role with Plus Fitness will see him and his team of Franchise Support Managers continue to assist all Plus Fitness Franchisees with their business and professional growth.
When asked, Franchisors Nigel Miller and John Fuller stated that they recognised that as they continue to grow at such an aggressive rate, the need was becoming more apparent to develop a role that would ensure that their team of Franchise Support Managers were getting the right level of support and developmental guidance that would in turn flow on to their Franchisees. Miller went on to say that; ‘with our high support Franchise Model, the need to attract someone with both Business Franchise and Fitness Industry experience was crucial and in recruiting Roger we have achieved this whilst also attracting someone that has the work ethic and attitude in fitting with our brand and existing leadership team’.
Having opened their first Franchise in Queensland last week and with a further 12 Queensland Territories sold, Plus Fitness is now located in five states and is showing no signs of slowing down.
