A World Standard Cycle Studio In The Hills Officially Opens

Pelotone, a world standard indoor cycling studio geared for cyclists was officially launched on Wednesday 4 December 2013 in Sydney’s Norwest Business Park by the Mayor of Hills Shire Council, Clr Dr Michelle Byrne.

Pelotone is the first dedicated premier indoor cycle studio for the Hills district and Greater Western Sydney providing cyclists with world class training systems and renowned cycle coaches.

Located in Lexington Drive, Bella Vista, Pelotone includes a 55-bike state-of-the-art studio, full service lockers, change rooms with showers, hang-out lunch lounge, merchandise boutique, refreshments and free parking directly outside the studio.

Pelotone is using the iQniter Cardio training system for its performance metrics, one of the leading systems in the world.

Karen Newham, director of Pelotone, who resides in the Hills district said, “Our cycle coaches are motivated, in great shape and ready to ride. Many of them also live in the Hills and are sought after cycle coaches.

“Pelotone provides options for indoor and outdoor cyclists. I encourage people from all walks of life to get on a bike and ride at Pelotone offering a safe, supportive, professional and fun environment.

“Pedal power burns 1000-2500 kilojoules in 30 to 60 minutes, that’s your morning tea and latte dealt with,” Ms Newham said.

“Through the use of iQniter Cardio training system, music, lights, large screens and quality coaching, you will be kept engaged and before you know it have ridden through a series of hills, races and intervals and barely realized you’ve worked out at such high intensity.”

There are no lock-in contracts, just pay as you ride, book on-line with a variety of cycle classes catering to all types of riders and levels of fitness.

“Pelotone will cater for not just the regular cyclist looking for a safe place to train, but also for cycling beginners and professionals, and those looking to use cycling to get fit, lose weight and to improve their mental wellbeing,” Ms Newham said.
