Leading fitness brand releases limited edition athletic wear to end poverty
International fashion brand Liquido has joined the Africa Yoga Project in their initiative to spread health and well being throughout African communities by designing an exclusive pattern of their popular leggings, which are now available online.
With limited availability, these bold leggings were created for women who wish to integrate style into their active and everyday lifestyle.
Liquido Global Distributor, Renata Facchini shares, “This pattern was created to support the active woman who wishes to make a bold statement in her fitness gear and make humanitarian strides while doing so.”
This limited release pattern called African Sunrise was conceptualised and designed by Liquido specifically for Africa Yoga Project (AYP), and 10 per cent of all sales of the African Sunrise leggings will be donated to education and wellness projects led by AYP throughout Africa.
The African Sunrise legging will be released in size small, medium and large. They will be available for purchase for $85 AUD at Liquido Active or at Africa Yoga Project.
AYP provides a scholarship-based, 200-hour teacher training course to residents ages 18 to 25 from slums and informal settlements across Kenya; the goal is to help these trained yoga teachers to spread health throughout their communities while also providing them with a stable income.
