Life Fitness’ long partnership with the MFB and CFA has seen it once again support the teams for the Good Friday Appeal Relay. This Thursday, firefighters will be racing against the clock to raise money for the Royal Children’s Hospital. Teams from both the MFB and CFA are aiming to run 170km in 14 hours. Life Fitness treadmills, built to withstand the rigorous demands of firefighting training, have been selected once again and the company has kindly donated the treadmills plus money for this special cause.
It’s been an Easter Thursday tradition since 2010, with the fire fighters raising over $137,000 for the Royal Children’s Hospital. The event will take place in Melbourne’s Bourke St Mall, Thursday 24 March. You can show your support by meeting the fire fighters in person on the day or by pledging a few cents per kilometre online.
