It’s simply the right thing to do and members can now feel even better about coming to the gym.”, says the Club Manager, Sheldon Macdonald.

This facility boasts 4 workout areas – an RPM® Studio, Mixed Gym, Outdoor workout area, Team Training space. “Fitness equipment will also receive an upgrade, with plenty of “exer-tainment” options available at the new club. Members will be able to connect their smartphones to new LifeFitness cardio machines, allowing access to personal music, books and apps. Users can also access social networks to interact with friends and personal trainers while working out with My Community. Virtual Lifescapecourses allow users to run or cycle through Auckland, Coromandel, Germany, California or Italy, with speed and incline adjusting to the terrain.”

Les Mills Hamilton will be the first Les Mills in New Zealand using solar hot water heating. The facility will also feature eco-shower heads, energy efficient LED lighting systems, recycled carpet underlay, natural ventilation where possible, efficient air-conditioning in the Group Fitness and RPM® studios, recycling bins throughout and even more bike racks. The construction itself will primarily use recycled materials including joinery, counter tops and light fittings from the previous fit-out there.
