Bjork does it, Rachel McAdams does it, Russell Brand does it, Isla Fisher does it, Demi Moore does it and even AAMI’s Rhonda (aka Aussie actor Mandy McElhinney) does it.
It’s Kundalini Yoga and it is the yoga of choice for creatives in the know – and KMYOGA is offering a series of special workshops focused on ‘Kundalini Yoga and Creativity’, beginning on Saturday 31 August.
Opera singer, performer, writer and KMYOGA founder Kathryn McCusker will be facilitating these workshops, which will help shift your fears and access the creative self. Many creatives – such as dancers, writers, actors and musicians – have found Kundalini hugely beneficial to their creative expression and awareness!
Kathryn has found Kundalini a great support to her own creativity, and she has taught Kundalini to singers and actors such as Bjork and Rachel McAdams who make Kundalini a regular part of their creative life.
See below for more information on these workshops, and click on the following link to listen to actor Forest Whitaker talk about how Kundalini has helped his performance:
KMYOGA student Anita tells how Kundalini has helped her creativity:
“I am a singer and I had been searching for a form of exercise that would not only benefit my general health but one that would specifically support my singing and performance skills. I noticed immediate changes to my sense of self and a deeper connection with my instrument, and have been hooked ever since…. (KMYOGA) is a sanctuary to step into.” – Anita
Actor and regular KMYOGA student Mandy McElhinney shares how Kundalini works for her:
Yoga heals the rift between mind and body and unlocks the furnace of creativity. It rewards me with blissful energy and opens me up to exciting possibilities in my life and work. ~ Mandy McElhinney
