Anxiety disorders are one of the most common mental health complaints in the country. The term encompasses a whole range of symptoms and severity, from low-level stress and worry to full-blown panic attacks, and may be caused by a number of factors. Fortunately, there are self-help techniques that can help anxiety sufferers ease their periods of stress. A newly-launched app called “Anxiety Reliever” does just that. Anxiety Reliever works by combining multiple tools – calming audio recordings, helpful tips, an insightful tracker and supportive messages – into a single integrated, holistic system. The app is available on the App Store and Google Play. It’s free for download and offers an affordable upgrade options priced at $9.99 for a one-year subscription ($0.83/month) or a one-time payment of $29.99.
Anxiety Reliever is designed to help sufferers regardless of the type of anxiety they’re suffering from, whether it’s Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Phobia, Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder, or Agoraphobia. Used as a daily tool, it can assist in overcoming severe anxiety, manage mild anxiety and generally live a more peaceful, less stressed life. Anxiety Reliever was created by Madeline Fedorova, who suffered from anxiety herself, found relief through these techniques, and was inspired to develop the app when she realised there was nothing else like it on the market.
“I suffered from severe anxiety for a very long time,” explains Anxiety Reliever app creator Madeline Fedorova. “Anxiety Reliever was inspired by a set of principles I created to help myself get through some of the toughest times. After overcoming anxiety, I became inspired to share what I’d learned to help others.”
Anxiety Reliever’s tools include:
The tracker is designed to be a daily tool to help users understand their anxiety triggers and notice the progress. When data is gathered a more thoughtful analysis of the mental state and stress levels can be made.
A collection of calming audio sessions will guide users through an anxiety attack. Users are encouraged to listen to these recordings whenever they’re feeling anxious, stressed, worried or need support and encouragement.
Tips are divided into four categories: Anxiety, Negative Thoughts, You and Life. They help to calm down and explain how to handle anxiety and stress.
Users will receive positive and uplifting messages from the Anxiety Reliever team to support them during the hard or challenging times. Messages will usually be based on the rate of anxiety. The creator of Anxiety Reliever believes that kind and loving words have the power to change a person’s day!
Please keep in mind that Anxiety Reliever is not a medical app and is not a substitute for professional medical help. (The app is classified in the Health & Fitness category in the App Store and Google Play.) All personal information is secured and protected.
