Power Plate® FitStopTM Revitalises Australian Employees
The Fitness Generation is excited to launch the Power Plate® FitStopTM concept to attendees at the Corporate Health & Wellbeing Summit from 3rd to 4th March 2016 in Melbourne.
The FitStop is designed to revitalise employees during the work day and resolve the negative effects of sedentary behaviour. The FitStop solution includes two program options; Relax and Energise. The options consist of simple stretches and movements aimed to help resolve the most common problems caused by sitting at a desk all day.
“There is growing research out there which shows the negative effect that sitting long hours at our desks is having on our health and productivity,” says Tim Horskins, CEO of The Fitness Generation.
“ThePower Plate® FitStopTM concept is simple. Taking time out on the Power Plate machine a few times a day will improve circulation, aid good posture, boost concentration and enhance productivity. FitStop provides employees with a break from their desks and a chance to revitalise themselves during the work day.”
The FitStop includes easy to follow instructions, and can be used in normal work clothes. It is recommended employees take two short FitStop breaks per day.
FitStop has an app downloadable from iTunes and GooglePlay designed to encourage employee compliance through engagement and motivation, as well as to collect usage metrics for the human resource department.
The Fitness Generation will be showcasing FitStop at the Corporate Health & Wellbeing Summit being held at the Park Hyatt in Melbourne from the 3rd to 4th March 2016.
