Fitness First To Open High Performance Club In Melbourne

Rate of force development (RFD) is a measurement of how quickly an athlete can reach peak levels of force. In most competitive sporting situations the ‪‎athlete‬ who has a higher rate of force development will win the contest.

The most common way to improve rate of force development is to ‪‎lift‬ submaximal loads quickly. Approximately 40 to 50 per cent of your 1 repetition maximum (1RM) is enough load to improve your RFD. Perform 3-5 repetitions for multiple sets but ensure your intent is to move the bar ‪‎fast‬.

At the #HighPerformanceClub on Collins St in Melbourne‬ you will be able to assess your ability to produce force in the @fitnessfirstau movelab

Coming 11th May.
