The opening key note of the Fitness Industry Technology Summit will be delivered by Katie Forcey from Facebook.
Katie is the lead for Facebook’s Health & Wellness in Australia & New Zealand.
“When you think of technology, you think of Facebook immediately. It was so important that Facebook was represented at the Fitness Industry Technology Summit,” said Justin Tamsett, founder of the event.
“We didn’t want a self-proclaimed expert to speak on Facebook ads, as the platform offers so much more. We really felt that someone from the mother ship would give the best overview of the capabilities of the platform. So we are honoured and excited to have Katie deliver the opening key note.”
Katie’s presentation will be: Harness the power of Facebook to amplify your brand and grow your business.
Katie will examine how to amplify your brand and grow your business using Facebook’s family of apps and services (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger). Katie will also touch on fitness trends observed on the platforms, include examples of the best content out there, explore the latest and greatest thinking from their strategy & creative teams, and tips and tricks to nurture and connect with your customers, both existing and new.
You will leave the session with a view on how to use Facebook’s services to be a more efficient and effective marketer, giving insights into how to make your dollars work harder for you.
Katie joins 9 other technology experts who will be speaking at the inaugural event. They will be covering digital marketing, accounting, the future of search and using data for best business decisions.
In addition, there are industry specific speakers who will share best business practices based on data gathered.
“Every session has been designed to improve the efficiencies and effectiveness of your fitness business. And when you do this, you will improve profitability and even give yourself more time off!” said Justin Tamsett.
The Fitness Industry Technology Summit will be held in Sydney on the 25th and 26th July. Closing date for registration is this Thursday the 18th July.
