Sydney: Saturday 5 September
Put your running performance under the microscope with exclusive Run Club workshops to be hosted by some of Australia’s elite sports trainers.
Presented by SKINS & IsoWhey Sports in association with Runlab, Run Club will be a science-based clinic to hone your running technique.
Run Club is the official training session of the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival and will offer free sessions for beginners, intermediate, marathon and family fun runners. Run Club will be headed up by Runlab’s world class running trainers, Vlad Shatrov and Damon Bray who have competed in some of the world’s toughest endurance races and coached numerous runners to victory.
Shatrov is the official trainer of the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival and winner of multiple major road and endurance running events. He is currently in heavy training for the Berlin Marathon in September 2015. Three other elite run trainers will join Shatrov and Bray for three Run Club sessions to be held in Centennial Park on Saturday 5 September. Each clinic is strictly limited to 125 people, so registrations are essential.
Shatrov said Run Club will offer runners the chance to sharpen up their technique whether they are training for the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival or just pushing their ‘private personal best’.
“Run Club clinics will cater for all runners from competitors to weekend warriors,” Shatrov said. “Our trainers are experts in analysing your running styles and helping to guide you towards better technique. Whether you want to run a 5km fun-run, a triathlon, a marathon, an Ironman event or you just want to run faster, these training sessions will push your boundaries while giving you the guidance you need to get across the finish line.”
Each person who attends Run Club will receive complimentary SKINS Calf Tights* and IsoWhey Sports Energy Gels*. (*while stocks last).
