Garmin is excited to announce that ‘Commando Steve’ Steve Willis has joined the team as a fitness ambassador. Willis joins a team of exceptional sports men and women that make up the Garmin Ambassador family across Australia, New Zealand and the globe.
As a Garmin Ambassador, Willis will be helping to promote using Garmin fitness devices to improve health, wellbeing and fitness. Willis, who runs the successful GetCommandoFit program and a trainer on The Biggest Loser, is a long time fan of Garmin and has been training with a fenix multisport watch since last year.
“My fenix is the ultimate training tool especially when running – it has the most comprehensive data I need so there are no excuses not to train at my maximum ability. Its sleek design makes it great to wear as a timepiece and even when I’m off-duty, it still tracks my progress,” said Willis.
Fenix 3 is Garmin’s newest multisport GPS smartwatch, with features that support a full range of multisport activities from advanced fitness training, hiking, climbing and trail running to snowboarding, cross-country and alpine skiing. fenix 3 is compatible with the Garmin Connect IQ™ store for even more smartwatch functionality and customisation from third-party apps.
Available in three variations, fenix 3 features a new, bold design with superior construction quality: Silver with a red band and crystal lens, Grey with a black band, and the premium Sapphire with a stainless steel band and domed sapphire lens. Each features a protective stainless steel bezel and buttons, and glass fibre reinforced housing to survive even the harshest conditions.
