Australian Institute of Fitness Launches New Courses

Australian Institute of Fitness launches new courses to prepare fitness professionals for the next stages in their career.

Australia’s largest and longest established fitness training organisation, the Australian Institute of Fitness, has today announced three new course offerings specifically designed to give fitness professionals the tools to further their careers and stand out in the industry.

Building on from the popular Master Trainer program, which is considered one of the most comprehensive Personal Trainer qualifications in the Australian industry, The Institute’s new Personal Training Specialist course will cover the latest in metabolic conditioning, advanced programming, strength and conditioning and will qualify students with a Diploma of Fitness.

A new Nutrition Coach course will offer fitness professionals the opportunity to be better equipped to provide current nutrition information to clients within their scope of practice, while a new Fitness Business Professional course will give students the tools and confidence to successfully run their own business, including the design and launch of their own personalised website.

According to Dyanne Ward, CEO, Australian Institute of Fitness: “As the longest established fitness training organisation in Australia, we have invested over 30 years into developing the most outstanding and quality learning environments and offerings available, ensuring that our graduates are fully equipped and ready to head into the industry to pursue their careers.

The introduction of our new courses will enable us to offer the best learning experience possible. They will help our students become more successful and profitable fitness professionals, through building on their existing knowledge.

Having nutrition coaching skills and/or advanced programming and conditioning skills will enable them to get better results for their clients and stand out from their competition. And the Fitness Business Professional course will ensure they have the skills to grow their fitness or massage business through effective sales and marketing strategies.”

Enrolments for the new courses are open now and study will commence across Australia from April 2015. All three new courses are completed via blended study, which includes a mix of online and face to face portions of study with expert Course Coaches at one of the Australian Institute of Fitness purpose-built Campuses, located in and around every major Australian city. The Institute will also offer the courses at a new ‘Satellite Campus’ which has just opened in Orange NSW. Face to face portions of study at the Satellite Campus will be delivered by The  Institute’s Course Coaches.
