Joel Perricone – Celebrating 12 years at Fitness Australia, Joel has dedicated his life to the fitness industry, working tirelessly to contribute as the policy voice for the Australian fitness industry. Understanding the importance the fitness sector has on the population its mental, physical and chronic health drives Joel to ensure the fitness industry plays a pivotal part in the preventative health platform. Joel continue to advocate for appropriate standards and business practices to ensure consumers of fitness can do so knowing that Australia has world-leading services.
Amie Higgs – New Coordinator Sport and Recreation Planning at City of Greater Geelong. Amie has spent more than 20 years in the fitness, recreation and allied health industries. Over her career she has held many high-level management roles with some of Australia’s leading boutique fitness brands and global franchises. Amie’s experience spans across both the commercial and not-for-profit sectors of the industry. She brings to the table a wealth of industry knowledge, as well as a passion for creating active, physically engaged and healthy communities.
Brett Jones – New Project Development Manager at Life Fitness Australia. 30 years’ experience designing and project managing literally hundreds of gym and fitness centre projects in Australia and SE Asia – from conceptual design through to final installation and hand over – Specialising in Hotels and Resorts, Casinos, Residential Complexes, Workers Accommodation Camps and Employee Wellness Facilities.
Stephanie O’Brien – new Director at True Personal Training Carss Park, Sydney.
Matt Beer – owner at new company Muscle Industry Supplements.
Rory Litchfield – new Fitness Coach at Australian Institute of Fitness.
Dean Hastie – celebrating 10 years at Goodlife Health Clubs.
Kellie Martin – celebrating 7 years at On a Mission Personal Training.
Rebecca Gunn – new Sales Training Manager at Barre Body Group, Byron Bay.
