After a successful final event for 2015 in Brisbane, the Fitness & Health Expo has earned its prime position as the ultimate event for the fitness and health industry for yet another year.
Undergoing an exciting rebrand this year to streamline national recognition of the event, the Expos have experienced a year of strong attendance across Australia, finishing the year with an increase of 55 per cent and 37 per cent in Sydney and Brisbane respectively.
It was a year of highlights including the very first Fitness & Health Expo managed by Diversified Communications in Brisbane. Bringing the top fitness brands, personalities and live sporting events together, the Expo is gaining a dedicated following across Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Brisbane from both industry professionals and fitness enthusiasts.
The success of the Expo this year was ultimately due to the content offered, as visitors came to be educated and inspired, with key features including Bodybuilding, Sports Modelling, CrossFit and Powerlifting. In addition to this, our Healthy Living Stage was used to engage more general fitness enthusiasts via nutritional and health & wellbeing content.
The team are thrilled to add Brisbane to the portfolio and are excited about the opportunities within this region moving forward. We anticipate a high level of growth for Brisbane 2016 from an exhibitor and visitor perspective from an extremely highly engaged market of fitness professionals and enthusiasts.
In 2016, the Fitness & Health Expo will present all the successful elements from this year that visitors have come to enjoy with more celebrities, additional offerings for Yoga & Pilates and further involvement from the technology, clothing & apparel and supplement segments.
Networking that supports the Expo will be everywhere in 2016 so if this is your industry you can’t afford to miss it. The Expos will become more interactive with additional opportunities for visitors to test their abilities and compete on the day, including a Strongman competition being introduced across all shows.
Excitingly for exhibitors, we are continuing to strengthen our relationships with association partners to ensure we continue to attract a diverse range of high-spending buyers to the events.
The Expo will skip its visit to Sydney next year, gearing up for a massive return to the new ICC Sydney, Darling Harbour, in April 2017.
