A 3,500 square meter warehouse in Sydney is home to a new Aktiv “Centre of Excellence” showroom designed to drive education and sales of functional fitness storage, suspension, floor & wall graphics, and accessories.

Ross Barbour is a trusted leader in the functional fitness industry, specialising in every element from education, to product choice and design. In his new role as managing director for Aktiv Solutions Australia, Barbour will continue to drive the adoption of functional fitness in the region and help health clubs elevate the client experience through customised training environments.
Barbour has extensive experience in the fitness space and understands the challenges functional fitness facilities face in the region. He has successfully installed numerous award-winning facilities and has built two start-up companies in the Australian fitness market. Barbour is originally from Scotland, where he had a distinguished career as a Physical Training Instructor within the British Commandos.
