2014 Fitness Industry Trends: An Aussie/NZ perspective

Ezypay and their Fitness Industry Survey team asked seven industry insiders to identify the big trends for the fitness industry in 2014. Here is a little of what they said:

“Members aren’t interested in TVs on their treadmills…” says Mel Tempest Group Fitness Expert, but technology is everywhere and the integration of technology and fitness is occurring and will continue to occur in 2014.

Lauretta Stace, CEO of Fitness Australia says “Large, community based fitness facilities will become lifestyle and wellness hubs…which incorporate clinical services and a range of wellness or lifestyle services.”

Ryan Hogan, CEO of Australian Fitness Network, warns personal trainers that those “…who do not delve into small group training will struggle to grow their revenue and acquire new clients.”
